Cape Town:-Two known gang members were shot dead in Bonteheuwel last night, in what police are calling a gang-related attack linked to the ongoing Hard Livings vs Dixie Boys rivalry.

The area, which had been relatively quiet in recent weeks, erupted in violence overnight, prompting an immediate response from Metro Police, Law Enforcement, and the South African Police Service.  Authorities are now working to identify the shooters.

Ward Councillor Angus McKenzie said: “We are doing everything possible to restore calm and protect innocent residents.  This matter is our top priority, and law enforcement deployments have been strengthened.”

Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as investigations continue.
