Bokke Crush Rivals To Stay World No.1
CCN Sport
South Africa has done it again!
The Springboks have claimed yet another Rugby Championship title, sealing victory with a nail-biting 29–27 win over Argentina at Twickenham last weekend.
This triumph not only crowns them back-to-back champions but also secures their World Rugby No.1 ranking with a commanding 92.20 points, proving once more that the Bokke remain the benchmark of world rugby.
What makes this campaign truly historic is the manner in which they achieved it. The All Blacks were handed a rare and humbling defeat on home soil in Wellington, followed by a fierce battle where Los Pumas fell just short in London. Both teams walked away knowing the Springboks are in a league of their own right now.
World Rugby Rankings (After The Rugby Championship 2025)

While celebrations continue back home, South Africa’s All Black supporters might be a little quieter this week – or maybe they’re still trying to make sense of that Wellington result! 😄
The world now looks ahead to the Autumn Nations Series, kicking off November 1, where the Springboks will once again carry the weight of expectation – and the pride of a nation that believes anything is possible when the green and gold take the field.
