Four killed, at least three injured in separate shooting incidents in Mitchells Plain

Mitchells Plain:- Four people have been killed and at least three others injured in multiple shooting incidents in Mitchells Plain today.
According to reports, a mass shooting occurred this afternoon in the Town Centre area where seven people were shot. Three victims died at the scene, while four others sustained injuries, some of them critical.
This follows an earlier shooting in the same area around 5:25 AM, in which an adult male, believed to be a taxi driver, was gunned down.

Western Cape police have launched investigations into the shootings. No arrests have been reported yet, and the motive behind the attacks remains unclear at this stage.
Mitchells Plain has seen persistent gang-related violence and taxi disputes in recent months, despite ongoing security operations that include the deployment of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) in parts of the Cape Flats.
