Velddrif:- Two young artists from the West Coast are putting Velddrif and St Helena Bay firmly on the local music map.
Michael Brown, better known as BeeJayBaby, and Keano Zano Sneyders (Zano) are collaborating on catchy Afrikaans tracks that resonate with audiences across the region.
BeeJayBaby, who hails from the Laaiplek/Noordhoek area of Velddrif, has built a strong following with his energetic style, smooth flows, and community-focused music.
Under the N.O.M.B.O.R. Production banner, he has released popular solo tracks such as Chucky and Skag & Yaga, along with live performances that light up local stages.
Zano, from nearby St Helena Bay, brings soulful vocals and melody that perfectly complement BeeJayBaby’s beats.
Their joint releases have been gaining traction, with standout collaborations including “Saam My Move”, “Wonner”, “Honestly”, and “Net By My”. The tracks blend West Coast flavour, relatable lyrics, and strong production – capturing everything from love and relationships to hometown vibes.
