After Attempted Robbery in Hout Bay 🚨

In the early hours of March 10, sharp-eyed CCTV operators spotted two individuals running from Victoria Avenue toward Northshore Drive, raising immediate suspicion.  With their experience in crime detection, Deep Blue Security swiftly mobilized their Armed Response Officers to investigate.

During their patrol, the officers encountered a distressed victim who reported an attempted robbery on Victoria Avenue. Acting fast, the team expanded their search alongside the victim, while CCTV continued tracking suspicious movements.

By 02:48, surveillance cameras picked up further activity near Hout Bay Harbour, leading security officers straight to the suspects’ location. The victim was able to positively identify both individuals, and they were swiftly apprehended on-site.

Shortly after, SAPS officers arrived on patrol, taking the suspects into custody. A case has since been opened, and investigations are ongoing. This incident serves as a reminder to stay alert and report suspicious activity. If you see anything unusual, contact Deep Blue Security at 021 790 7901 or SAPS at 10111.
