CCN Reporting

Cape Town:- The Western Cape has seen a concerted effort by law enforcement to tackle crime and ensure community safety.

In Kensington, members of the Anti-Gang Unit recently arrested three gang-affiliated suspects in separate incidents. The suspects now face charges including illegal possession of ammunition, murder, attempted murder, and dealing in drugs.

In Manenberg, police responded to a fatal shooting incident between Touwsberg Road and Dwayka Road, near the Canal landmark. Services were quickly on the scene as the investigation continues.

Meanwhile, communities in Lavender Hill have expressed their gratitude to Steenberg SAPS and the Metal Theft Unit for their ongoing work to combat cable theft, a problem that has plagued the area for years. Their continuous efforts are helping to restore safety and security, bit by bit, in the neighborhood.

These coordinated actions reflect law enforcement’s commitment to reducing crime and making the Western Cape safer for all residents.
