West Coast talent featured on Bush Radio 89.5 FM!

VELDDRIF:- This Tuesday, Bryan-Jade Rhodes and Brilynn van Rooyen will be the special guests on Bush Radio 89.5 FM, during the popular afternoon show “Backchat”, airing Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The show, hosted by Thomas Cedrick and Renato Van Schalkwyk, focuses on township development, local and international musicians, and dynamic individuals and groups. It also provides insight into what the people of the Cape Flats are thinking and feeling.
Bryan-Jade Rhodes, the young performer from Velddrif, will share his incredible journey and his recent selection to represent South Africa at the prestigious IPop International Acting Auditions in Los Angeles, USA, from 4 to 8 January 2026 – a life-changing opportunity for him and his community.
Brilynn van Rooyen, a respected music promoter and leader within Young Dynasty NPO, will talk about the upcoming talent showcase events planned across towns in the West Coast District Municipality. The first school has already signed up without hesitation, because rural talent is often forgotten, and this initiative aims to change that. He will reveal the name of the school and plans for the rest of the year.
He will also highlight the collaboration between West Coast Sports Solutions NPC, Young Dynasty NPO, Piketberg Youth Sports Development and Star Struck Records, working together to support young talents like Bryan-Jade and help them turn their dreams into reality.
