PARKLANDS – TABLE VIEW:- A 55-year-old man from Mauritius was shot and killed in the parking lot of a shopping complex on Sandown Road, Parklands, earlier today.
Police were called to the scene at noon, where they discovered the victim inside a vehicle, seated in the front passenger seat with gunshot wounds to his body. The suspect reportedly stole the victim’s cellphone before fleeing the scene.
Authorities have launched a murder investigation and urge anyone with information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or Table View Police Station Detective, Sergeant Magingxi, at 021 521 3338 / 021 521 3301.
The public is also reminded to refrain from sharing crime scene images on social media as investigations continue.
