Police Tip- Off lead to R1 million Mandrax Tablets

Khayelitsha:- Police had acted on a tip-off about a liquor storage facility in Site B, where they found the woman with 10 large and four small packets of Mandrax tablets.  A 46-year-old woman from Khayelitsha was arrested after being caught with Mandrax tablets worth R1 million.  The community’s cooperation was praised by authorities for helping prevent drug distribution.  The woman is facing drug-related charges, with a court appearance scheduled.  The Khayelitsha Community Policing Forum also highlighted the damaging effects of drugs on local youth.
