Cape Town:- A 26-year-old suspect is set to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court today (Tuesday, 16 September 2025,) in connection with a double murder in Wallacedene, Kraaifontein.
The man was taken in for questioning by Serious Violent Crime detectives on Sunday evening and formally charged on Monday.
Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing into several other violent incidents in the area during the early hours of Sunday. These include three additional murders, the attempted murder of one man, and the rape of a woman. Detectives attached to the Serious Violent Crime Unit are continuing their efforts to bring all perpetrators to justice.
Police remain confident that with the investigation gaining momentum, all related cases will be solved in due course.
