Government of National Unity

A Failing Experiment?

South Africa:- The Government of National Unity (GNU) was meant to unite different parties to work for South Africa’s future.

But how does it make sense when they sit together in Parliament, yet attack each other outside?  Instead of real solutions, we see endless political battles while ordinary people struggle.

Since the GNU’s formation, what has really changed?

Unemployment remains sky-high – millions are still jobless, with no clear plan to fix it.

Crime is out of control – kidnappings, violent robberies, and corruption are worse than ever.

Service delivery is collapsing – from water shortages to loadshedding, citizens are left to fend for themselves.

And now, South Africans are pushing back. The MK Party’s rise in last week’s by-elections is a clear warning _ people are tired of this GNU “scam.”  Voters are rejecting the same politicians who make empty promises while living comfortably off taxpayers’ money.

Recent events show how unstable the GNU really is:

The ANC and DA pretend to be partners, but the DA openly attacks ANC policies, making them look more like opponents than allies.

EFF and MK Party completely reject the GNU, calling it an elite power deal that ignores the poor.

Coalition governments are collapsing at local levels, proving that this so-called unity is anything but stable.

The message is clear: South Africans want real leadership, not another political deal that protects the rich while the poor get poorer. If the GNU doesn’t wake up, they may find themselves irrelevant by the next election.

But what do you think?  Is this government really for the people, or just another failed experiment?
