The Cape Flats was rocked by a wave of bloodshed today and last night, as multiple shootings erupted across different areas, leaving a trail of death and fear in their wake.

Chaos unfolded in Lotus River last night,  when gunfire erupted at a gang leader’s memorial service in 6th Avenue. Seven people were shot, turning what was meant to be a moment of remembrance into a scene of horror.
The violence continued in Bonteheuwel, where two individuals were shot near a nolocal clinic. Whether they were targeted or caught in the crossfire is still unknown, but the ongoing cycle of shootings in the area leaves residents fearing for their safety.
In Manenberg, another attack took place on Rio Grande Street, where two people were shot.
One of whom was reportedly a gang member. The streets that have seen so much bloodshed before were once again marked by violence.
Meanwhile, in Atlantis, a man was shot and injured, though details of the incident remain scarce.
In Eerste River, a man was gunned down on Hindle Road between Bardale Road and Eerste River Way..
A video is just post on a Cape Flats Whatsapp  group, of an attempted hijacked on Eisleben road, directions Highlands drive, New  Woodlands. They took man and woman’s cellphones and the woman’s handbag.  The car windows was smashed. In the video the man sit with his head down on his hands on the pavement.
