CAPE TOWN:- A chilling execution-style murder has rocked the Woodstock community after 30-year-old Imaan Syms was gunned down in cold blood on Monday night.
The attack unfolded in Sussex Street, Cape Town, where an unidentified suspect approached Imaan, unleashed a hail of bullets, and vanished into the night. Witnesses claim she was shot at least 17 times, though police have not confirmed the exact number.
Sergeant Wesley Twigg, SAPS spokesperson, stated that officers arrived at the scene to find Imaan’s lifeless body riddled with gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced her dead on-site.
Imaan was the daughter of Ziyaad Williams, a respected figure in the Minstrel Fraternity and owner of the D Six Hanover Minstrels.
