School children were reportedly robbed and injured while on their way to school.

According to eyewitnesses, the children arrived at the hospital visibly shaken, in tears and with bloodstained school uniforms, indicating they were not only robbed but physically harmed.

Thanks to the quick response of local ambassadors, the scene was secured until Law Enforcement officers arrived. Community members are now pleading for increased patrols, especially during school opening and closing times, to ensure the safety of learners in this high-risk area.

“Our children cannot live in fear walking to school,” said a concerned resident. “We thank those who helped, but we need visible protection every day.”

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
