Gugulethu:- The Western Cape’s Serious and Violent Crimes Unit is urgently appealing to the public for assistance following a tragic mass shooting that claimed the lives of seven men in Gugulethu.
Police have identified two individuals, Linde Madolo and Loyiso Matinisi, who they believe may hold vital information that could assist in the investigation. Authorities have made it clear that the pair are not suspects at this stage, but detectives are eager to speak with them to gain further insight into the brutal killings.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents calling for justice and answers. The victims, all adult males, were gunned down in what police have described as a cold-blooded mass murder, further fuelling concerns about violent crime in the area.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Madolo or Matinisi, or who can assist in tracing them, is urged to contact Sergeant Sithembele Sambunjelwa from the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit on 073 416 5224.
The police have assured the public that all information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, and community members are encouraged to come forward.
