For Jobs and Service Delivery

Piketberg:- The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Bergrivier Constituency has announced that they will lead a march in Piketberg this coming Friday, 5 September 2025, to demand jobs and improved service delivery.
According to a statement issued by the EFF, the march will also call on the DA-led Bergrivier Municipality to address issues around housing and service delivery. In addition, demonstrators plan to hand over a memorandum of demands to the CEO of SANRAL, Mr. Reginald Demana, concerning the N7 road project currently being undertaken by SANRAL and H&I.
The protest will start at 08:00 from Rangers Cash Store (corner of Watsonia Street and Petunia Street) and proceed to 7 Vervoer Singel (SANRAL & H&I Site Office) and finally to 13 Church Street, Piketberg (Bergrivier Municipality offices).
EFF Bergrivier member Chadrick Fortuin confirmed that the media is invited to cover the event.
