For national cross-country champs
Soetendal Primêr in Wellington is appealing for community and business support to help one of its young athletes compete at the South African Cross Country Championships.
Meldeanio Maans has qualified to represent the school at the national event, which takes place on 2 and 3 October 2026 in Pretoria. School principal and cross-country coordinator G. Sakata say the achievement is the result of hard work, self-discipline and determination.
The school needs R2 740 to equip Meldeanio with the required kit:
- Running vest: R250
- Running shorts: R320
- Softshell jacket: R845
- Tog bag: R525
- Tracksuit: R800
Any contribution towards individual items or the full amount will help cover the practical costs of participation and allow the learner to represent the school and community with pride in Pretoria.
