🏉 Help Our U/19 Rugby Team Cross the Line

Cape Town:- For the second year in a row, our U/19 rugby team has been invited to compete in the JBC Foundation & Starter Academy Rugby 7’s tournament. Sadly, we are forced to decline again, not because of a lack of talent or determination, but because of one simple reason: we cannot afford the basic kit and transport.

It is heartbreaking to watch our young players train hard, only to stand on the sidelines when opportunity knocks. Rugby builds discipline, teamwork, and hope, but without jerseys, shorts, socks, and other essentials, these boys cannot take part.

Why your support matters

If we can raise enough to purchase the team’s clothing and equipment, we will finally bridge the gap that has kept us out of this prestigious tournament. More importantly, we will give our youth the chance to shine on the field and represent their community with pride.

Unfortunately, due to ongoing challenges with our organization’s banking process, I have opened a personal account to ensure that funds can be received and used directly for the team. (Our bank is 53km away, making it difficult for all directors to be present when needed.)

How you can help

Every contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to the day when our boys can run onto the field, not just with pride, but with the knowledge that their community stood behind them.

✨ Let’s not let another year slip away. Together, we can make sure 2025/26 is the year these young players finally get their chance.
