After Early Morning Petrol Station Robbery

Cape Town:- Mfuleni SAPS officers acted swiftly on Friday morning, arresting three men aged between 24 and 40 following an armed robbery at a petrol station on the Stellenbosch Arterial Road, Kuilsriver, at approximately 04:00.
Police received a tip-off detailing the suspects’ involvement and descriptions. Officers pursued the men as they fled towards Riverside Gardens, successfully apprehending them. During the arrest, a 9mm pistol with ammunition and a speed point machine were recovered.
The suspects now face charges including possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, possession of stolen property, and armed robbery. They are expected to appear in the Kuilsriver Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charges.
The Mfuleni SAPS continues to encourage the community to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
