HOUT BAY:- Police have confirmed that three men were tragically killed in Imizamo Yethu, Hout Bay, late last night.Their bodies were discovered inside a vehicle at Holomisa Square shortly before midnight, all showing gunshot wounds. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. Authorities are exploring the possibility that the incident may be linked to extortion-related activities, but no official confirmation has been made.

Police urge anyone with information about the case to come forward. Investigators continue to gather evidence and speak to witnesses in the area.

  • “This is heartbreaking. Imizamo Yethu has lost too many young men to violence.  We need stronger policing and community support”  said Nomsa M., a local resident of Imizamo Yethu
  • “People are scared to speak up, but we can’t let fear rule our streets. We need justice for these men. “Extortion or not, this kind of violence has no place in our community. Families are suffering every day.” is  Lindiwe P, another resident’s advice to residents.

Police have not released the names of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.  Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
